Crawfordsville Billing Information
Beginning January 1, 2010 The City of Crawfordsville will be implementing the new MS4 user fee. The City has also changed it's billing process for the Waste
Water Department as well. Waste Water charges used to be billed by Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power, beginning
in 2010 Indiana American Water will be doing the billing for the Waste
Water and MS4. Waste Water customers who are not on Indiana
American Water will be billed by The City of Crawfordsville and should
receive a letter notifying them of the change. The meter cards
will now be turned into the City at 300 E Pike Street in the billing
office. MS4 users that are not on Indiana American Water or are
non mutual customers because of property ownership and or commercial
property status will also be billed by the City. If you receive a bill from
Indiana American Water then payment should be made to them and if you
receive a bill from the City of Crawfordsville payment should be made to
the City. For example if you receive a bill from Indiana American
Water for your Waste Water and or your MS4 you cannot pay that bill at
the City billing office, payment must be made to Indiana American Water.
However, if you receive your Waste Water and or MS4 bill from the City
of Crawfordsville payment must be made at the City of Crawfordsville's
billing department located on the first floor of the City Building at
300 East Pike Street. For more information regarding this change
