Innovation in Community Wellness
A commitment to community wellness launched yet another innovative initiative that continues to receive national attention and recognition as a best practice model. Crawfordsville's Community Paramedicine Mobile Integrated Health Program combines the expertise and mobility of the paramedic system with expertise from Franciscan Health and delivers to-your-door healthcare to higher-risk residents. This program is so successful the Indiana Department of Health & Human Services is a sponsor and regularly requests Crawfordsville to speak and/or train other fire departments around the state.
