Emergency Medical Services Division

Mission

The Crawfordsville Fire Department EMS Division, overseen by EMS Division Chief Paul Miller, provides clinically sound and educated patient care to the community with a servant’s heart for everyone entrusted to our care. Crawfordsville EMT's will continuously strive for excellence in service and professionalism with every interaction on and off duty.

In the mid-1900's, innovative leaders in the department incorporated Emergency Medical Services (EMS) making Crawfordsville Fire Department one of the founders of fire service based EMS. Today, that tradition of innovation continues.

In January, 2017, the Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) Community Paramedicine Program was launched through a grant provided by the Indiana Department of Health. The award-winning program is nationally-recognized.
