Small City... Big Possibilities

Mayor To Meet With Public

Mayor To Meet With The Public

At Kathleen Steele Playground

As part of his campaign, Crawfordsville Mayor Todd Barton pledged to have a published time every month during which the citizens of our community could come speak with him to offer their concerns, input and suggestions. Mayor Barton strongly believes in public input and wants to be accessible but realizes that setting an appointment to come to the Mayor’s Office is not the most convenient option for many of our citizens.

Mayor Barton is in his sixth year of these meetings that are scheduled at varying times and at different locations throughout the city each month. He is pleased to announce that he has scheduled another such event and will be available to speak with anyone who would like to speak with him.

The event, the 64th since taking office, will take place from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at the Kathleen Steele Playground, which is located in the 800 block of West Main Street.

This is an opportunity to meet the Mayor one-on-one and bring any issues or concerns you would like to bring to his attention.

If you have any concerns or comments for Mayor, take a few minutes to stop by and make those concerns known on April 25 at the Kathleen Steele Playground.

Should there be bad weather the meeting will take place in the Mayor’s Conference room. An update will appear on the City’s Facebook and Twitter accounts on April 25 if weather is threatening.

Date: Tuesday, April 25
