Farmers' Market

New in town? Or maybe not so new? Plan a visit and then make the farmers market a part of your weekly wellness routine! Want to know more? Read on!

We’ve been around for a while! 2020 marks the 27th season of the farmers market, which began in 1993 with just a few farmers who asked to sell ears of corn up at the courthouse.

Since then, the market has grown with each passing season and now accommodates 40 market stalls which host a wide variety of LOCAL farmers, growers and producers of fresh bread, produce, eggs, meats, jams and jellies, raw honey, maple syrup and other homemade edible goods.

The market is also proud to support and showcase a select group of LOCAL artisans and entrepreneurs whose unique creativity and all-natural products make the Crawfordsville Farmers Market a truly complete shopping experience! The market has also expanded over the years to include themed community and family events, cooking demonstrations, fitness classes, FOOD TRUCKS and LIVE music!!

Crawfordsville Farmers Market

The Crawfordsville Farmers Market comes alive from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm at Pike Place Park, 100 West Pike Street every Saturday from May 2, 2020 – October 31, 2020 in the heart of Historic Downtown Crawfordsville.

Yes! Our canine friends are welcome at the market if they are leashed, under the control of their humans and stay directly out of the interior of vendor market stalls. In addition, Pike Place provides pet waste bags to assist owners in making unforeseen accidents a breeze to cleanup!

It is expected that pet owners do everything in their power to ensure that their dog interacts peacefully with the public and one another. Aggressive animals will be asked to leave the market to ensure public safety.

Yes! Wheelchairs, motorized power chairs, and other equipment used by those with disabilities are welcome to ensure every consumer can move safely and easily through the market venue.

However, recreational wheels (i.e. scooters, skateboards, bikes, skates, rollerblades and/or Heelys are not allowed) Those who ride their bicycles, etc. to the market will be required to “WALK THEIR WHEELS” within the confines of the market.

NO. To ensure public safety and preserve a positive, neutral, outdoor retail market space that everyone is free to enjoy, religious affiliated, partisan political party/interest, and/or other protest groups may not walk the market to distribute handbills or engage market patrons at any time during market hours.

The sale of goods and services by anyone other than approved market vendors are also prohibited.

The most frequent questions we receive many be answered by reviewing the CFM 2020 Market Vendor Application. The vendor app includes information about specific vendor requirements and additional local compliance information. Full-season vendor applications are due by April 15th for a $75 season pass (that’s less than $3/week!). Late-season applications are $90. Market Stalls may also be rented on a week to week basis after the season pass deadline and throughout the market season. Stall rental fees, applications and copies of any applicable required documentation may be mailed to the Crawfordsville Community Center at 922 E. South Blvd. or dropped off in person during business hours.

Submit photos showing examples of your work via email to: You must be approved by the CFM Jury Committee prior to submitting a vendor application.
